Course objectives:
|
To acquaint students with chosen methods and processes which knowledge is a prerequisite to analysis of existing systems and also proposals of new ones. Part of subject is dedicated to explanation of models from decision making theory area that are used within system analysis.

Requirements on student
|
By granting of credit it is approved that student of present form study has been attended in required measure of obligatory education and accomplished the requests that were set as conditions for granting. The conditions of granting are set by the teacher. The examination (form, content, duration) is set in accordance with Educational and Examinational Code of UPa.

Systems, basic system properties, controlling and decision making in systems.
System analysis, typical tasks of system analysis.
System decomposition typical tasks of system decomposition.
Soft systems, human activity systems and their analysis.
Introduction to theory of decision. Decision making while certainty, indeterminacy, risk.
Multicriterial discrete model for decision making.
Continuous decision making models. Multicriterial linear programming tasks.
Conflict decision making models.
Introduction into scheduling, optimization criterions.
Design of scheduling tasks and method, reservation systems, shop systems.
Scheduling of operators and employees.
Basics of Information systems theory. Evaluation of information amount. Coding. Entropy.
