Course objectives:
The subject links to the Technology of paint matters. Issues regarding surface pretreatment methods - physical or chemical - are discussed and organic surfaces application and preparation technologies are explained. Attention to design of coating compositions for various real environments is paid too. An excursion to external coatings manufacturing equipment is organized during semester.
Student will be acquainted with techniques of material surface coatings, but especially with organic coatings application technologies.
Requirements on student
There is an oral examination. Primary form of exam is the debate about selected themes. Level of acquired knowledge, conceptions and application acquirements is examined. Knowledge is examined by test during semester and its result is included into total classification.
