Course objectives:
|
The goal of this subject is to introduce the archaeological research and all practical and theoretical questions connected with it. Special attention will be paid to the creation of research projects or exploration projects before they are launched, and further to carrying out combinated projects (e.g. combination of archaelogy and experiment, cultural heritage preservation etc.). Students will be informed about the so called contract archaeology and about grant projects.

Three times absence allowed (with excusion), presenting a paper and active participation in discussion.

Content
|
Introduction to archaeological research. Information about all practical and theoretical questions connected with it, especially about the creation of research projects or exploration projects before they are launched, and further about carrying out combinated projects (e.g. combination of archaelogy and experiment, cultural heritage preservation etc.). Introduction to the so called contract archaeology. Information about grant projects.
