Course objectives:
|
The course is designed to build on language skills acquired within the course and dedicated to their further development. At the end of the two semesters four basic language skills are developed: reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking skills. The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be A2+.

Requirements on student
|
Written examination consisting of 4 parts: reading with comprehension (text in Russian including four different types of exercises) close test (completion of grammar/vocabulary items) writing (a letter, a report) listening Minimum 60% correctness at each part.

Competences acquired |
Students are able to make themselves understood both in spoken language and in writing and in everyday situations. They are able to describe their needs and their surroundings and can write simple texts about things they are familiar with and to give reasons for their opinions. |
