Course objectives:

The aim of this subject is finishing of previous term of Immunology, graduation of the immunology knowledge and acquiring knowledge in Clinical Immunology.

Written and oral examination.

Content
|
Diversity of antibodies and T and B cell receptores. Affinity maturation, isotype switching. Immunological tolerance. Positive and negative selection in T and B cell pool.
Development of antibody response. Primary and secondary antobody response. Immune response regulation.
Skin and mucosal immune system.
Antibacterial and antiviral immunity. Laboratory detection methods of immune response. Virus HIV.
Laboratory tests in Immunology praxis.
Immune response to tumours, tumor markers. Tumor cell and apoptosis, necrosis.
Transplantation.
Immunopathological estates, categories.
Autoimmunity. Atopy, The role of IgE in atopy, laboratory diagnostics. Atopy reaction mediators. Prevention and therapy. Chronic fatigue syndrom.
