Course objectives:
|
The goal of lessons is to make students acquaint with the scope of corporate economy - basic principles, common tools, methods and calculations used in practice of industrial enterprises. enterprises. Students also gain a comprehensive overview of business management in the current market conditions.

Requirements on student
|
Oral exam required. Level of acquired knowledge, approaches, as well as skill in practice application is examined. During term the knowledge is verified by one examination paper, its result is considered as a part of final classification.

Competences acquired |
After finishing the course students should have the basic overview of the corporate economy. They should be able to solve elementary problems and calculations that are necessary to common corporate management including investments and finance. They have the competence to use common tools for management of processes and products. The students are able to define the mission and vision of the company, evaluate the market environment including own company position, compile plans for business functions, manage their implementation and control the outputs in accordance with the principles of process management. |
