Learning outcomes
|
The course is dedicated to the Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Attention is paid to the basic terms, structure of GIS, application of GIS, examples of GIS usage in practice, analytical functions of GIS and data visualization. Students will be able to create and edit cartographic data, manage and work with geodatabases and use the network analyses.
After the course completion the student is familiar with the basic work with GIS software.
