Course content
The Economics Problem. Demand and Supply. Elasticity. Consumer Choice. Output, Costs, Revenue of Firm. Perfect Competition. Monopoly. Monopolistic Competition. Oligopoly.

Learning outcomes
Microeconomics I. provides for freshmen basic economic information in parallel with courses Macroeconomics I., economy and social policy. This group of courses is followed by other economic subjects like managerial economics. In Microeconomics I. the basic problem analyzed are like: customer behavior, production factor, market failure and stock influence under condition of perfect and imperfect competition are given.
Students will be able to apply the knowledge and understand the economical principles of production and consumption.

Written examination, Student performance assessment

Assignment : 70% membership on the lectures. Closing assignment (test) in the last week of the semester. Examination: The exam will be in written form.
