Course content
Civil law - object, functions, sources Historical development of civil law. Civil law in European context. Civil legal facts and relations. Property rights: Ownership, Possession, Liens, Easements. Obligations: Creation, modification, destruction and ensuring contractual relations. Obligations: Typical contracts. Liability in civil law. Unjust enrichment. Right of inheritance.

Learning outcomes
Objective of the course is to acquaint students with problems of material civil law as an essential part of the system of private law within the existing legislation of the Czech Republic.
Students acquire basic knowledge of the Czech Republic enterprise legal regulations, business organizations, business contractual relationships and stocks and bonds in the extent parallel to their study specialization.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Didactic test, Discussion

Assignment granting is conditioned by active attendance at seminars according to solving of examples and discussion about problematics and presentation. Exam is granted according to oral examination.
