Výstupy z učení
|
Cílem předmětu je přiblížit studentům významná díla, autory a období britské literatury od počátků po současnost. Kromě literární historie je vzhledem k profesní orientaci studentů v přednáškách kladen důraz na kulturní a společensko-historické události. Semináře spočívají v práci s ukázkami primární literatury, což praktickým způsobem doplňuje náplň přednášek a dává studentům prostor pro aktivní ústní projev.
Studenti si rozvinou textové a literární kompetence. Díky chronologickému uspořádání témat si vybudují přehled o jednotlivých základních obdobích britské literatury a jejich specifických rysech. Dále si prohloubí schopnost samostatné práce s literárním textem, jeho interpretace a analýzy.

Ústní zkouška
- Povinná docházka (maximálně 3 absence) - Samostatná příprava na semináře a aktivní účast - ústní zkouška - aplikace teoretických znalostí na texty - znalost 6 předepsaných textů: 1/ Anonymous: The Seafarer (see handout no.1) 2/ G.
