Course content
|
The attention is devoted to two crucial personalities of Baroque sculpture in Bohemia, Ferdinand Maxmilián Brokof and Matyáš Bernard Braun and works of Braun followers in Eastern Bohemia (A.Braun, F.Adámek, J.J.Jelínek, Ř. Theny, J.A.Devoty, I.Rohrbach, J.F.Pacák, S.Tischler).

|
Subject objectives consist in making students acquainted with Giuan Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680), key representative of baroque sculpture and works of further sculptures having impact on Baroque sculpture improvement in Bohemia countries.
Students are well versed in 17th and 18th century Italian sculpture history.
