The principle of photographs, technical assumptions of media origin, 19 century technologies (Niepce, Daguere, Talbot) and their accepting from abroad, the first homeland photographers (Franz, Horn, Stašek, Kramer). General theory of photographs, the most significant homeland collection of photos and their history, conservation and the theory of restoration of photographs. Relationship between painting and photographs in 19 century, painters taking photographs (Mucha, Degas), the path towards the film (Lumiére). Studios, portraits fashion (Qast, Langhans, Fiedler, Rafael). Photos and science (Purkyně, Nilsson). Explorers with a camera - 19 century typographical photos (Eckert, Rupp, Dubský). Photographs and painting expression (Novák, Drtikol, Bufka, Trčka, Binko), pictorialism malleable techniques. Path towards the pure photographs - avant-garde trends (Rachid, Funke, Rössler, Sudek). The second avant-garde (Aventin trio, line f3, f4, f5). Report and the document up to 1945 (Tmej, Lukas). Photos as a propaganda tool (Kašpařík, Heartfield, Hrubý).

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to get to know each issue photos since the creation of media to the present. Focus on a subset of the streams, in which is only given account on the linear development. Training is targeted primarily at home art photo, but in view of the worldwide development. Special attention is paid to technological development photos.
Students will learn how to get in the basic outline and the evolution of photographic art, znalosi from the technological development and dependencies of the resulting works on it are important for practical application for the restoration of photos.
