Course content
New issues in the field of restoration. The difference in art 20. a21. century from the earlier period, in particular by extending the works of materials used, techniques and artistic procedures. Understanding of the intentionality of the author as a determining factor for correct restoration works 20. and 21. century. The theory of restoration of modern and contemporary art: INCCA initiative, the current state of research, the main concern, basic literature. Change the view of art in 20. century (Marcel Duchamp etc.). The extension of the borders of the concept of art: conceptual art intended for restoration? Experiment with color in the United States. years from Alfaro Siqueiros (David, Jackson Pollock, paint, autolaky etc.). The origins of the use of Acrylic colors in the UK (David Hockney and Independent Group). Restoration of pop art (Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein (disambiguation), Richard Hamilton). The relationship between the artist and the producer of colors: American minimalist Morris Louis, Frank Stella).

The aim of the course is introduction to studetnů with a newly growing issues of restoration of works of fine arts 20. and 21. century and submit their introduction to artistic styles incurred in particular. years 20. century, when in the world art major redevelopment and occurred in the Czech Republic has not yet theoretical reflection of those phenomena is missing.
Students will learn how to get orientated in emerging discipline in the field of restoration, which deal with the problem in practice.
