Course content
|
Presentation of practical problems in restoration branch within broad cultural relations, interdisciplinary communication further profession. Scopes: sources significance for dating and more extensive understanding of works treated; written sources, chronograms, cryptograms; unpublished manuscripts, printed sources of regional origin related to treated work; sources of topographical origin; work with orally obtained data and information; tangible sources and their utilisation; archaeological research and resulted source of information; seal application, numismatics, medal art as a source; sources of material civilisation handicrafts.

Learning outcomes
|
Subject objectives consist in improving students´ knowledge considering restoration treatment preparation, documentation resulting from further practice needs, restoration, cultural heritage care as specific professional scientific disciplines.
Students become familiar with techniques while working with sources required for restoration goal specification and further restoration steps.
