Course content
|
Configuration of the human body, methods used to study its composition, basic points of reference in the human body, tissue types. The skeletal system. Bone types, bone junctures. Muscle configuration, muscle types, nomenclature. Muscles in individual muscle groups. The circulatory system, configuration, heart composition. Vessel types and composition, main arteries and veins in the systemic circulation. Configuration of the lymphatic system, structures of the immune system. Composition of the respiratory system. Composition of individual parts of the digestive system - the digestive tract. Composition of the liver and the pancreas, configuration of the biliary pathways. Women´s reproductive system. Men´s reproductive system.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive overview of composition of individual subsystems of the human body, with an emphasis on structures affected by pathological processes the most frequently, and to provide knowledge that is needed for the studies of follow-up preclinical and clinical subjects.
The student will master the material contained in the syllabus.

Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 75% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of a written test.
