Course content
Pedagogy as a scientific discipline. The concept and goals of upbringing. The role of upbringing and education. The agent of upbringing - the person. The development of pedagogical principles. Forms of upbringing. Education in nursing. Methods, forms, and didactic tools used in nursing education. Education evaluation, criteria for client and nurse evaluations.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with information from the field of upbringing and education of the person and to acquaint them with principles of preparation of a bachelor work.
The student will be able to apply gained knowledge and skills to education in a health care institution and will master delivering a brief specialized presentation in a written and oral form.
