Course content
The subject contains the information about photography: historical and modern photographic techniques and methods of identification, ways of production of the photographic techniques. The structure of the photographic positive and negative materials, basic mechanisms damage, the method of cleaning, deleting, silver mirrors from negative, restoration black and white glass negatives, stored and exhibition condition of photographic materials.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to deepen the knowledge production and characteristics photographic materials and their protection.
Students get the knowledge for restoration and preservation of works of culture end of 19th and 20th century.
