Course content
Present continuous. Gerunds. National holidays. Future tense. Weather. Revision. Composed past tense, simple past tense of the verbs ser, ir, estar. Human body. Simple past tense. Preterito indefinido. Describing people and their feelings. Describing finished actions in the past. Revision and practice of grammar in Ven 1 - past tenses. Indefinido and perfecto, constructions with estar and gerund, llevar and gerund, and other. Conversational topics: My family, my friends. Descriptions. My home. My studies and my future plans. The Czech Republic. Spain, Madrid and other Spanish cities. Means of communication. Czech and Spanish cuisine. Shopping. National holidays. The young of today and their problems. Latin America. Sports. Time and seasons.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities, Skills training
Learning outcomes
Consolidating language skills in Spanish. Seminars are focused on widening vocabulary within given topics.
Students are able to orientate in basic communicative situations but also more difficult texts, using past tenses. They are able to have conversation on certain subjects. They work with texts and are able to interpret them.

Oral examination, Written examination, Student performance assessment, Oral performance analysis, Discussion

Exam - written test, oral part. Test of grammar - covering Units 1 - 11. Oral part - interview on a conversational topic and interpretation of an article.
