Learning outcomes
The aim of the course in electrical engineering Matlab is to acquaint students with the MATLAB programming environment, particularly with the base vector, matrix calculus, writing scripts, called M-Files. Working with cycles, 2D and 3D graphics, creating custom functions by reading the actual data of different formats eg. from Excel and subsequent processing in Matlab. Creating your own graphical environment. Use Matlab to calculate electrical problems.
After completing the course, students will be able to independently use the Matlab programming for solving specific technical problems, especially in the field of matrix calculus, creating custom functions and m-files and graphic simulations. This knowledge can be used extensively in related technical subjects.
Prerequisites
It is assumed the routine knowledge of high school and college mathematics and basic work on the PC.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Work-related product analysis, Didactic test, Discussion, Systematic monitoring, Self project defence, Presentation
Students must during the semester and the final exam to prove understanding solved problems and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks. It is believed active participation in the consultations. Students study themselves of recommended reading and practicing everything in the MATLAB environment to which they have access from anywhere via the VPN. Knowledge and skills will be tested to the latest consultation. Specific requirements will be communicated to students by the teacher during the first week of the semester.
