Course content
The picture of Comenius in the Age of Enlightenment. Herder and Comenius. Palacký and Comenius. Masaryk and Comenius.

Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is deepening and enlargement of interpreting the heritage of Comenius. The lectures will based on the works of most Czech and Germany interpreter of Comenius. They will be based on the following thematic topics: the picture of Comenius in 18. and 19. century; Comenius as the philosoph of humanity.
Students will get knowledge of the interpretations of Komenský´s work. They will be competent to work as specialists in museums, libraries and also continue research of Czech and foreign Comeniology.

Credit is dependent upon an exam involving the topics dealt with in the lectures.
