Course content
Towards other worlds - travel books and ethnography (Frič, Plicka, Hanzelka and Zikmund, Luskačová, Krčil). Surplus reality in reality 1, 2 (Štýrský, Teige, Lenhart, Zykmund, Koreček, Reichmann, Fuková, Medková). Eroticism in photo (Mucha, Drtikol, Štýrský, Stibor, Vávra, Saudek, Stano, Tichý). Socio-critical document after 1945 1, 2 (Cudlín, Koudelka, Kovář, Štecha, Štreit, Kratochvíl). Production, the path towards the video art 1, 2 (Hrubý, Sedling, Hudec-Ahasver, Saudek, Epos, Švolík, Bratrstvo, Stano, Bromová, Dita Pepe). Records of artistic activities (Knížák, Ruller, Kovanda, Šembera). Intimacy (Sudek, Svoboda, Rajzík, Pinkava, Mára, Pohribný, Prokůpek, Othová). Ordinary day poetry in the photo (Group 42, DOFO, VOX, Profile, Einhorn, Jírů). Ecological approaches (Sudek, Hrubý, Hinšt, Spurný). Chronicle (Holomíček, Sláma). Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get to know each issue photos since the creation of media to the present. Focus on a subset of the streams, in which is only given account on the linear development. Training is targeted primarily at home art photo, but in view of the worldwide development. Special attention is paid to technological development photos.
Students will learn how to get in the basic outline and the evolution of photographic art, znalosi from the technological development and dependencies of the resulting works on it are important for practical application for the restoration of photos.
