Course content
Introduction to structural mechanics principles. Operations with vectors and scalars; The planar beam forces and the the general system of forces. Static moment of force to a point, static moment. The model structure. Characteristics of statically determinate and indeterminate structures. The calculation of responses of statically determinate structures. Differential equilibrium conditions to direct the beam. Internal forces of statically determinate structures (beams and cantilevers, angle beam, refracted beam, beam Gerber). Bridge lattice structure Static properties

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim is to get knowledge in principle of structural mechanics.
Student acquaints with the basic problems of structural mechanics. Theoretical knowledge will be applied to the specific terms of reference for the design of structural and transport engineering.
Prerequisites
A prerequisite for the successful completion of the course is the understanding and mastery of the substance from the articles Mathematics I, II, and Physics as well.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

The requirements will be defined by lecturer.
