Atomic and molecular structure; Chemical bond, Thermochemistry, States of matter and solutions: changes of state; liquid state; solid state; Chemical reactions and equilibrium; Acid and bases; Electrochemistry; Chemistry of the main metals and nonmetals.

Understanding of matter, material change and basic laws of chemistry. Kompetence: Student is able at the end of this course to understand and to use general laws of chemistry and the relationship between the structure and properties of simple substance and mains of inorganic compounds.
