Course content
Civil code. Criminal code. Customs and monopoly laws; unbinding laws; local laws; administrative laws; school laws - these are all based on the Habsburg monarchy's body of laws.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide more in-depth information regarding selected chapters of the legal history of the Habsburg monarchy, approximately from the end of the 18th century till the end of its existence. The student will gain insights not only into the factual situation, but also into the connections stemming from separate legal norms that have influenced the current condition of the legal environment.
