To familiarize students with the legislative and technical regulations, design, building and reconstruction of urban roads and higways/motorways.

1. Introduction to the course - basic terminology. 2. Law on the Road Construction 3. Design of Road Construction (design speed, horizontal and vertical alignment, cross section) 4. The Structural Design of the Roads (reconstruction and maintenance of roads, reliability and diagnostic systems of the roads) 5. Design of Urban Roads and Intersections (road safety, traffic engineering, parking areas, bus stops) 6. Final summary
