Introduction to driving railway vehicles. Adhesion problematic of driving railway vehicles. Drive wheelset of driving vehicles. Axle bearings of driving vehicles. Gearboxes. Power transmissions of driving vehicles. Power transmissions of driving vehicles. Wheelset guiding and primary suspension. Body case - bogie binding and secondary suspension. The alternations of vertical axle forces dependence on the traction force function. Wheelset driving of driving vehicles. Wheelset driving of driving vehicles. Bogies of driving vehicles. Learning outcomes
|
Apprise the students with driving railway vehicles, the requirements of construction these vehicles, and specifications their building, especially the undercarriage of railway vehicles.
Student is cognizant of the basic construction layout of driving railway vehicle, understands of the function of separate parts and is ables to basic construction project of separate parts of driving railway vehicle undercarriage.

The student has the elementary knowledges of mathematic, physic and mechanics and machine parts.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Creative work analysis
The obtain of inclusion is conditioned by participation at practice lessons with one enabled absence per semester and successful pass the inclusion test. The examination has the written part in test form and oral part.
