Key learning outcomes | The aim of the study branch of Transport Means (DP) is to prepare graduated specialists especially for technically focused professions from spheres of operation, maintenance and repair of road vehicles (SV) or railway vehicles (SV). Alumni have knowledge of essential introductory and technical subjects at required theoretical level corresponding with university studies. Theoretical knowledge is supplemented with targeted vocational practice. Alumni are capable of solving tasks concerning road or rail transport means, their design, operational utilization, maintenance, innovation and reconstruction. On labour market, alumni can find their jobs as technicians in the field of operation, maintenance and repair of transport means. There can be also design or business activities in their job description. But they can be welcome at designing offices, too. They have also ability to lead small teams. They can find their jobs also in companies dealing with operation of road, rail or urban mass transportation and in firms that do repairs and reconstructions of vehicles. Knowledge base obtained during bachelor study gives the alumni background to continue their studies in master study programs of the same or similar orientation or specialisation. | ||||
