Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim is to teach students basic knowledge of steel structures bridges.
After graduation are students able to design simple steel structures (girders, cantilevers) including connections on basis of Eurocodes. Students are able to work as building inspector, design engineer or in other areas connected to steel structures.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of "Strength of materials " and "Structural mechanics I, II, III" is demanded.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Credit bear to, that student take part in requisite amount of obligatory education and that meet the demands, conditional to give a credit . Conditions conferment credit appoint lecturer. Exam from object (form, content, continuation) is fixed term conformable with educational and examination order.
