Key learning outcomes Department of Transport Structures will apply excellence in teaching to foster graduates of distinction who are ready to take their self-reliant role in business, professions, industry and public service in the field of civil engineering. Civil Engineering is a wide discipline that encompasses a variety of project types such as highways, railways, bridges, tunnels, airports, (harbours), waste-water treatment facilities, power stations and commercial/industrial buildings. Graduates from the 1.5year Level of Master study in Civil Engineering will be prepared for responsible engineering and managerial roles in all phases of construction projects. Unlike the bachelor programme, the choice of the master study courses puts emphasis on theory. Students will be guided to self-reliant thinking and studying, to making decisions and to developing and sorting their knowledge, skills and attitudes with regard to construction, business and design work. Career Opportunities: " Project Management " Construction Engineering " Design & Build " National & International Projects " Business Development Graduates will also be able to continue with their PhD studies of the same or similar study programme.
