Course content
|
Complicated directional and vertical alignment. Level and elevated crossings. Detailed specifications of the technologies used pavement structure. Calculation of the pavement structure. Objects and accessories roads. Traffic telematics. Road safety, road safety audit. The exercise is developed a proposal the intersection.

Learning outcomes
|
To deepen the knowledge gained in the course "Design and build of road construction."
The student is able to do on completion of the course to determine traffic capacity at crossings, to assess the distances between crossroads and junctions and the influence of the adjacent railway crossing. He knows the roundabout design process and design geometry.

Prerequisites
|
The course builds on the subject of "Design and construction of roads" of the bachelor's degree and is aimed at enhancing knowledge in designing in a complex and crowded conditions.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination
Assessment confirms that the time student attended the extent required of compulsory education and that fulfilled the requirements with which the awarding. Terms of the credit determined teacher. Test of the object (form, content, duration) is determined in accordance with the Study and Examination Regulations UPa.
