Course content |
Determining the status of state administration within the public administration and its role in implementation of national economic policy. Theoretical approaches to state administration. Important milestones in the development of state administration in our country. Differences in function of state administration and implementation of public policies before 1989 after. Role of Czech - Czechoslovak presidents and their approach to economic and political issues. Current position of President of the Czech Republic, the Prime Minister, Ministers and The Office of the Government of the Czech Republic. Issue of selected ministries and other government agencies. Selected management methods and its use in state administration. Specifics of use of information technology in state administration.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the functioning of state administration in the Czech Republic, to define its subjects, modern approaches and historical context.
Students acquire basic knowledge for further working in the state administration. |

Students should have a basic knowledge of public administration.
