Course content
English will be developed in line with the textbook, units 9 - 12, including, but not limited to: Vocabulary: - multi-word verbs & phrases with 'action', 'activity', 'event' and programme' - phrases with 'chance', 'occasion', 'opportunity' and 'possibility' - fixed phrases & 'at', 'in' and 'to' to express location - prepositions following verbs & word formation Grammar: - future perfect and continuous & 'be' + 'to' infinitive & objects, reflexives and reciprocals - expressing ability, possibility and obligation - conditionals & 'wish' and 'if only' - countable and uncountable nouns & articles Topics: - Invention and innovation - Learning for life - Globetrotters - Our planet

Learning outcomes
The course builds on previous practical language courses and focuses on further development of students´ communicative competence in all its aspects - linguistic, pragmatic and strategic. Students will improve their communicative skills and effective use of the language in various contexts by improving their knowledge of grammatical, lexical and stylistic structures. The aim of the course is elimination of insufficiencies in fluency, accuracy, and appropriateness of expression and register, and the increase of ability to pursue effectively the purpose of communication. Within oral and written utterances, students will also employ the knowledge and skills acquired in other classes, such as Presentation Skills (BPREZ), English for Specific Purposes (BOJA1), Writing Skills (BAKPS), etc.

Prerequisites
Students are expected to have achieved the B2+ level of the CEFR in their previous studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

1. Compulsory attendance 2. Timely completion of all assignments set by the lecturer. In case of teaching & learning taking place online, requirements will be met during online lessons (MS Teams) and by completing online tasks (LMS Moodle).
