Course content
|
History of town Olomouc. Karel Novák and town Olomouc. One day at university. Study in the area of record keeping. Passive Voice. Modal Verbs. Past Tense. Conjunctions. Time data. Conjunctive. Comparison of adjectives and adverbs. Academic historical texts.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed mainly for students of history. Students are supposed to acquire ability of working with academic texts, mainly translation and interpreting. Students will acquire grammatical, syntactic and lexical features of academic texts. Listening and conversation will also be a part of the course.
Student will be able to work with academic texts and will gain the ability to distinguish language structures and work with them.

Written examination
Min. 70% active participation in seminars requred. Working out of set tasks. Min. 70 % passing of the test required.
