Course content
People, jobs and activities. Occupation, product description, interview. Company organisation, company departments. Company presentation. Legal organisation of companies. Promotion, public relations and company culture. Trade fairs and exhibitions. Fair strategies and preparation for fairs. Information gathering, offers contracts. Terms of payment and delivery terms.

Learning outcomes
Students will gain basic language skills from the area of academic German language, development of vocabulary and other language means used in professional situations. The course develops language skills - speaking, reading and listening in the area of economic German. Special attention is dedicated to gaining grammar-lexical structure knowledge of academic language and basics of presenting skills.
Students will be able to read and understand academic texts and answer questions regarding problematics dealt with.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Self project defence

Active participation in seminars - 80%, seminar paper on a given topic, presentation. Type of assessment - credit assignment.
