Course content
What to present, aims definition. Non-verbal communication. Communication aspects. Para-verbal communication means. Factors of intercultural communication. Germany from the outside. Presentation time. Manner of presentation (media/language, facial expressions, gestures). Media (overhead projector, PC + data projector, video + TV, flipchart, notice board, blackboard). Function of presentation (preparation process, reflection). Constructive criticism. Criteria for understanding, criteria for using slides. Company presentation (preparation + presentation). Students' presentations.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities, Demonstration
Learning outcomes
There will be developed communicative competence of students in German with the emphasis on visualisation skills, presentation and moderating. The main focus is put on clarity, accuracy and graphic expressing with help of visual aids (flipchart, overhead projector, video, data projector), preparation, organisation, presentation and handling moderation in German.
Students develop their ability of using foreign language effectively in spoken and written form as a way of communication in wide circle of concrete practical situations. They will be able to express themselves clearly, and graphically (flipchart, overhead projector, video, data projector), will manage preparation, organization and running the presentation in German language.

Student performance assessment

Presentation of a product, company or project. 70% attendance at the seminars.
