Course content
Follow-up course in Greek (prior knowledge of the basics of Greek morphology is assumed). The course will cover the basics of the Greek verb system.

  • Contact teaching - 26 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 44 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a partial test - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This follow-up course in Greek (which assumes prior knowledge of the basics of Greek morphology) focuses on the fundamentals of the Greek verb system. The aim is to expand students' knowledge of ancient Greek grammar and vocabulary.
The aim of the course is to provide philosophy students with basic training that will enable them to work with original texts (learning the basics of ancient Greek grammar, vocabulary, etc.).

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Active participation in the seminar at least 80%, continuous tests, final exam in grammar and reading.
