Language and its functions. Kulture of the language. The basic concepts. Criterions of language correctness. Types of language errors. Policy of the language. Conditions of correctness useing language. Newspeak. Word ethics. Language politeness. Poles attitudes towards the language. Sellected problems of the pronunciation. Sellected problems of the orthography. Sellected problems of the punctuation. Sellected problems of the lexical correctness. Sellected problems of the synatax correctness.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to inform students about theoretical and practical questions of Polish language culture.
Students should learn basics of Polish language culture. They should correctly writing elementary Polish texts. They should know basic literature and sources.

Prerequisites
|
The basics knowledge of Polish language.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Didactic test, Discussion
Active participation in the lessons, presenting a short paper, passing a final test, regular attendance (max. two absences).
