Course content
Relation between Latin and Polish literature. Legends, chronicles and its development. Chivalric poetry in changes. The golden age of renaissance literature. The age of sarmatism. The age of Enlinghtenment in the time of Stanislaw Poniatowski.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is explication of trends in the Polish national literature since 14th to 18th century with the regard to context of Latin early medieval literature.
Student will gain factographic overview about main works and trends of the Polish literature since 14th to 18th century.

Oral examination

Making of notices of the recommended fiction and secondary literature. The written interpretation of one literary work.
