Bronze Age - an overview Early Bronze Age Middle Bronze Age Late Bronze Age Final Bronze Age Later prehistory - an overview Hallstatt Period I Hallstatt Period II La Tene period I La Tene period II Roman Period I Roman Period II Migration period

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Projection
Learning outcomes
A concise overview of the cultural evolution from the Bronze Age to the Migration Period in Europe focusing on the territory of the Czech Republic. Individual chronological periods will be characterised. Accentuated will be the latest research and excavation results.
Students will be able to distinguish in particular material cultures, social organisation and mental sphere of concrete periods and set them in to proper historical context.
