Learning outcomes
|
The course presents the subject of prehistoric archaeology, history of archaeology, structure of archaeological institutions, development of methods and approaches. The work with archaeological literature and sources will be introduced as well as general principles of the evolution of human society, absolute and relative chronology and research development. Principal scheme of the evolution of culture in Europe will be presented.
Student will obtain general knowledge of the history of discipline, structure of archaeological institutions in the Czech Republic, methods and basic periodisation of Czech prehistory.
