Course content
|
Pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Bronchial asthma. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Care of patients with shortness of breath, especially with bronchial obstruction. Interstitial lung processes, sarcoidosis, pleural diseases. Nursing process for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and extrapulmonary. Nursing process in patients with respiratory insufficiency. Nursing process for patients with interstitial lung processes.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of cardiology and pneumology.
The student becomes familiar with the basics of symptomatology, diagnostics, treatment and nursing issues of patients with diseases of the heart, blood vessels and respiratory system.

Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions. Completion of a written test or an oral examination as decided by the subject guarantor.
