Key learning outcomes The aim of SP Automation is to prepare university educated specialists for employment in technical and lower managerial positions in various industry areas, namely in production, maintenance, sale or service of measuring, information and control systems. It focuses mainly on the application of knowledge of the principles of automation and control of technological processes, but also provides a sufficient theoretical basis for further professional growth. Students will acquire the necessary knowledge of automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering and microcontroller technology, programming, signal processing and will acquire knowledge in the design, application and maintenance of modern measurement, communication and control systems. Emphasis is placed on gaining the knowledge necessary in the field of control technology, automation, computer and other communication networks.
