Key learning outcomes Graduates from the Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials doctoral degree programme are qualified experts in the field of chemistry whose knowledge covers a broad range of materials chemistry. Graduates are able to evaluate and discuss current information from various sources using critical thinking, are able to share information with other members of the worldwide professional community, develop new inorganic materials, and introduce new materials in industrial production. The study programme places great emphasis on understanding the relations between the chemical composition of materials, their structure and physicochemical properties. Upon completion of the study programme, graduates can find positions in research laboratories focused on materials chemistry, in both theoretical and applied research areas, or they can work as experts in scientific teams in industrial development centres or in relevant state administration departments.
