Key learning outcomes
|
The main aim of this study programme is to obtain theoretical knowledge in transport logistics, transport management and marketing, economic disciplines and other extending subjects. In the case of educating of new university specialists is the aim focused on obtaining skills to solve difficult problems in transport and especially to speak with foreign specialists from transport branch. The intention of this study programme is to provide theoretical education for potential managers in a whole sector of transport and also in other branches of national economy. Graduates of Master study programme in the course "Transport Management, Marketing and Logistics" have wide theoretical basis of transport economics and transport policy, transport marketing, personal, financial and crisis management including process management and reengineering. The graduates' specialized profile is extended by knowledge of technology and operation of transport, international transport, insurance, econometrics and forecasting and analysis of control and entrepreneurial activity including European integration. The graduates' knowledge enables them to apply modern methods of economic managing in transport and forwarding companies (respecting sustainable development of society) or in research institutions as well as in educational sphere. Their profile also respects all claims to individual enterprising in all transport branches. Acquired knowledge in Master study programme is qualification to continue in Doctoral study programme with the same or related branch.
