Learning activities and teaching methods
unspecified, Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The main aim of this subject is to comprehend basic terms in genetics, inform about structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins. The main attention is paid to human genetics but also to genetic of bacteria and viruses. The others subjects are mutations and their types, sexual and asexual reproduction, cytogenetic and the most common genetic diseases in human population.
Students get basic knowledges about terms using in genetics, about structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins. They orientate themselves in cytogenetic and the most common human genetic syndromes.
Prerequisites
unspecified
KBBV/C501 and KBBV/C611

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Test.
