Course content

Travelling, Types of Tours. Means of Transport Accommodation, Communication at the Reception. Grammatical and Lexical Structures from the Field of Tourism (e.g. geographical names, articles, prepositions, names of countries, professional terminology). Food and Drinks, National Specialities. Sightseeings.

Using the example of the field of tourism, the course will enable students to obtain professional knowledge and social competences. Students will be able to speak competently, grammatically and stylistically correctly on topics related to tourism. They will also acquire the vocabulary and grammatical and lexical structures from this field.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Presentation
Active participation in seminars - 80%, continuous completion of assignments and project presentations. Excursion to Germany followed by a presentation on a given topic. Attestation method: credit
