Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to broaden students' knowledge of the field of Otorhinolaryngology.
Students will understand function of individual organs and clinical presentation of diseases, which have a close relationship to nursing diagnosis, nursing objectives and meeting needs of the patient. Classic medical or nursing otorhinolaryngology issues are, rather nontraditionally, supplemented by managerial and economic (use and placing an order for medical supplies and material), organizational (outpatient surgery, ORL care center), and social and legal issues (medical opinions, spa care). Students will be able to implement theoretical knowledge in practice and thus improve nursing care quality.
