1. Introduction. The knowledge of Bulgaria in the Czech lands in the second half of 19th century. 2. Bulgaria under Ottoman rule. The participation of Czechs in the Bulgarian struggles for liberation. 3. The division of Bulgaria during the congress of Berlin.
