Learning outcomes |
The main aim of the seminar is to provide students with methdodological guidance and professional feedback during the process of preparation and implementation of their bachelor thesis work. It is organized as series of individual consultations and electronic mail comments, students are obliged to inform regulary the supervisors about the results of the current stage of their research and creative activities (the schedule intervals and demands see below).
Students will acquire the principles of processing a certain topic within the stipulated scope and structure. |

Home assignment evaluation
Three individual consultations during the winter semester (in normal office hours of the supervisor) and regular electronic mailing about the details of finished or planned parts of the thesis. The regular presentation of the materials prepared for the thesis implementation is based on the following three time pillars, including obligatory time intervals and the minimum contents: - to 18th November 2010: List review of the analyzed primary and secundary literature in the topic (including brief methodological comments, ie what and how the listed will be used in the thesis) - to 16th December 2010: 1. Formulation of the specific goals of the thesis togehter with the methodological approach to the analyzed topics (including secondary literature) 2. Detailed outline of the thesis (with brief commentary on thematic focus of the chapters, including metodology) - to the end of January 2011: Presentation of the preliminary text of the thesis in a larger, operational form (from 20 to 30 pages) in required format and citation standard (see the relevant sections of the KLKS website). * Note: The above mentiond intervals are obligatory also for the students that will decide to submit the thesis in the later term (June 2011) and defend it in autumn (August/September 2011). |
