Course content
|
The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with an abnormal duration of pregnancy. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with hypertension. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with a disease of the GI tract. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with diabetes mellitus. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with diseases of the blood, heart, and blood vessels. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with a urological disease. The midwife's care of the pregnant woman with diseases of the genitals and with infectious diseases.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with pregnancy conditions that require special care, with modern diagnostic methods and at the same time, with important social issues associated with such conditions.
The student knows and carries out, using the form of the nursing process, comprehensive nursing care for women with high-risk pregnancy.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Work-related product analysis, Didactic test
Compliance with mandatory participation in seminars, workshops as required by teachers. Successful completion of a written test. Completing assigned written work (development and defence - seminar work, presentation, group work, model nursing plan, educational material, case study). Successful completion of an oral examination.
